Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Finland is pleased to invite our partners to our very first teacher week 2-6^th October 2023!

The main aim of this event is to invite teachers from our partners and to provide them with an opportunity to meet our students and staff in a different academic and cultural context! The guest teachers are invited to give 8 academic hours of classes, workshops or join other pedagogical activities.

We are inviting you to teach on the theme:

Open doors to future careers.

The teacher week theme will holistically reflect on- what are the current trends in working life and entrepreneurship? What are the competencies needed by today's employees? How is this reflected in the light of ethics, responsibility, and sustainability? The theme can be interpreted broadly and is intended for the bachelor level.

We will offer teaching in our 5 campuses, depending on the competence area. The main networking events will be at our main campus in Pasila, Helsinki. In the application we will ask you to provide your CV and a brief description of the subjects you would like to teach.

In addition to teaching, the week will offer opportunities to network and get to know Helsinki and Finland.

The deadline to apply is on the 12th of May. As the event has a limited number of participants, we will process all applications after the deadline and inform all accepted participants by the end of May.
