The Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Košice (EkF TUKE) was founded by the decision of the Academic Senate of the Technical University of Košice on 8th July 1992 with effect from 1st September 1992. Its graduates contribute to enhancing professionalism in the financial and banking sector and development of the regions.

Mission of the Faculty is to

Develop knowledge and provide high quality, professional education in the field of economic sciencesꓼ Contribute to the development of society and shaping of the regional economy through providing research and consulting expertise, further education and other services to the local and regional community.

Vision of the Faculty

The Faculty of Economics strives to be a sought-after academic destination and rank among high-quality faculties of economic sciences in the united Europe through delivering high-quality education upholding the values of democracy and humanism, promoting tolerance among students and enhancing their ability of critical and creative thinking, providing an environment supportive of scientific research and dissemination of newly created and delivered knowledge, as well as maintaining and actively participating in regular international cooperation activities.
